 Unit 3: The Digital Storytellers (Media Arts, Dance & Drama)

Focus: Camera Angles, Framing, Sound & Narrative Turn your students from passive watchers into active producers. This high-energy unit introduces digital literacy through a creative lens.

• Key Highlights: Students learn the "Hug the Heavy" rule for safe camera handling , explore "Foley" sound effects to create atmosphere and use "Superhero Selfies" to understand camera angles.
• The Big Finale: "The Newsroom Gala," where production teams film a "Fairytale News Report," reporting live on breaking nursery rhyme emergencies.

Unit 4: A World of Celebration (Integrated Arts)

Focus: Festivals, Light, Sound & Shadow Puppetry Take a trip around the world to discover how we celebrate! This culturally responsive unit integrates all art forms to explore festivals like Diwali and Vivid Sydney.

• Key Highlights: Students become "Music Detectives" analysing global rhythms, engineer 3D paper lanterns using the "Golden Rule" of folding and master shadow puppetry as "Dalangs".
